Zibo Rundi Aluminum awarded two bauxite mining concessions in Guinea

On November 19, 2018, Zibo Rundi Aluminum Co.,Ltd. was awarded two bauxite mining concessions by the Guinean government, according to media report. The term of validity for the concessions is 25 years and can be extended. The project is located in Fria, Boké, Guinea and has an estimated bauxite reserve of more than 1 billion tonnes. With a construction period of 24 months, the project will see bauxite mined from the 12th month. The project is scheduled to produce 5 million tonnes of bauxite in the first year and 10 million tonnes in the following year.
